3D Animation

I have spent the last 8 years working in 3D in some way or another, whether it be print, web, video or multimedia. I have done everything from create 3D stages for actors to just the opposite, create 3D objects and characters to be placed in a video taped background. If you can name it, I’ve probably done it in some way shape or form.

Compositing & Image Manipulation

I really enjoy working on compositing projects. I think it is the challenge of making the UN-REAL look as if it were just the opposite, REAL. I have seen many people succeed at this as well as many fail and everything in-between. I know just how difficult it can be with just the small amount of compositing that I have done. So I will let you be a judge of my work... SUCCESS or FAILER.

Web Sites

I try to put a modern, somewhat abstract design on websites even if they are somewhat traditional companies.

THE SHORT VERSION OF THIS PARAGRAPH IS THAT I AM TRYING TO NOT GET MY BUTT KICKED, NOW THE LONG VERSION. THE INFORMATION IN THESE WEBSITES IS WHAT WAS THERE WHEN I STOPED MAINTAINING THEM. I HAVE TRIED TO PULL OUT ALL OF THE CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION, BUT WE CAN ALL MAKE MISTAKES; PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU SEE ANYTHING THAT SHOULD NOT BE THERE.

Print

Print and page layout is a rather recent addition to my repertoire, seeing as I have only been doing it for about 4 years. I started with simple CD covers and grew to small in-house publications and advertisements. My first love is still 3D; but, print is not that bad either.

Photography

Photography is a VERY new hobby for me. I have only been doing it for about 1 year, maybe a year and a half. I find it interesting, but not as interesting as 3D or Compositing. In other words, I would not want to make a living at it, but doing some now and then wouldn’t be a problem either.

Programming

Programming has been kind of on and off for me. I did some of it back in the late 90's in my programming class' in college, later on in my 3D animation class and currently at work and at home. It's something I don't do all the time, it's like the logical part of my brain gets board and starts screaming at me, GIVE ME SOMETHING TO DO!!!!, to which I oblige.

Multimedia

I have not done much multimedia work, I have spent most of my time on 3D animation, video editing and compositing, mostly on 3D and compositing. I want to get into more of it just to see if I have an interest and to show employers that I can do it. We will just have to see how much I do and see where it goes.

Drawing

Drawing ... who knew! The last thing I thought I would put on my portfolio page is drawing. I have always been horrible at drawing; I mean, I can make a stick-man, but lets face it, who can't! As for anything else, well, I'm learning and learning will get me there. Through persistence and patients I could become the living embodiment of Micheal Angelo ... or Elmer Fudd, lets hope for the former.
